KSLF Inaugural Ryder Cup Golf Tournament

The Inaugural KSLF Ryder Cup: A Day to Remember

What a day!

The inaugural Kyle Swanson Legacy Fund Ryder Cup Golf Tournament was everything we hoped it would be—and more.Thirty-six golfers came together at Kenwood Country Club for an afternoon filled with friendly competition, plenty of laughs, great golf, and, most importantly, an opportunity to celebrate Kyle and carry his light forward.

The field was divided into two teams, the Bombers and the Hoosiers, representing two of the places Kyle was so proud to call his own. The teams battled it out in a Ryder Cup-style match play competition, and when the final match was complete, it was the Hoosiers who claimed the inaugural KSLF Ryder Cup!

But, as with everything we do through the Kyle Swanson Legacy Fund, the day was about so much more than winning.

It was about bringing people together, creating memories, and honoring Kyle in a way that reflected who he was—competitive, fun-loving, loyal, and always ready to make those around him feel like they belonged.

And what better way to celebrate the Hoosiers' victory than with champagne served from the crystal Ryder Cup trophy! Each member of the winning team also received a special KSLF Ryder Cup stein to commemorate the first-ever tournament.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who played,, donated, and supported us and helped make this inaugural event such a success. Your generosity allows the Kyle Swanson Legacy Fund to continue supporting the causes that mattered so much to Kyle—Youth Sports & Opportunity, Cancer Support & Survivorship, and Animal Rescue & Advocacy.

Thank you for helping us make the first KSLF Ryder Cup one we will never forget.

We played. We competed. We celebrated. And most importantly, we continue to “BeThe Light.”
