Through your generosity, the Fund’s resources have supported these incredible organizations highlighted below.  With our 501(c) (3) status, we are excited to further these relationships and create many new impactful opportunities for those we serve.

The Cincinnati Reds Community Fund

The Cincinnati Reds Community Fund - Since its inception in 2001, the Reds Community Fund (RCF) has used baseball and softball as a vehicle to improve the lives of youth and to improve our community.

As a separate, independent 501(c)3 non-profit affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, the RCF strives to create programming that connects underserved children ages 4–18 with baseball and softball while providing educational and personal development opportunities to help improve their futures.

This year, four graduating seniors — two baseball and two softball student-athletes in the Reds Nike RBI and Reds Community Fund Scholars programs — will receive the Kyle Swanson Legacy Award recognizing their resilience, leadership, and commitment to community.

The League of Animal Welfare

Founded in 1949, League for Animal Welfare is a privately funded, non-profit organization providing much-needed care for unwanted, lost and neglected cats and dogs in our community. As the oldest and one of the largest no-kill shelters in the area, the League serves the Greater Cincinnati area through initiatives to reduce the number of homeless animals and to help people better care for their pets. With the support of their dedicated staff, volunteers, foster families and friends, the League provides medical and behavioral care for more than 1,500 cats and dogs we find loving homes for each year.  In addition to our sheltering services, the League also addresses the root causes of companion animal homelessness through assistance to local pet owners, including our pet food pantry; spay/neuter voucher program; vaccine clinics; and veterinary assistance program. s, meals, childcare and help with medication co-pays.

The Lord’s Gym

Lord’s Gym Ministries in Price Hill uses sports as a powerful way to engage and support local youth. Through programs like boxing, basketball, soccer, and summer sports training, they provide a safe, structured environment where young people can build skills, confidence, and discipline.

These programs offer more than just a place to play—they provide consistency, positive role models, and a constructive alternative to the challenges they may face outside of school. Coaches and volunteers intentionally build relationships with athletes, helping them grow not only as players, but as individuals developing resilience, teamwork and a sense of purpose.

Dear Paul, Rose, and Nancy,

I am truly humbled and grateful that you chose our organization to receive such a generous gift. It also meant so much that you took the time to visit the kids in our after-school program at Roberts — and even jump in and participate!

I’ve been personally moved by the way you have responded to the loss of Kyle. Thank you for being such a powerful example of God’s grace — turning tragedy into something that is now impacting hundreds, even thousands, of lives across the Cincinnati community. With God’s help, I will do my very best to carry Kyle’s legacy forward through our athletic programs to the kids we serve.

Gratefully,

Chris
